CRUNCH WILL RE-OPEN ON SATURDAY JUNE 13TH

We can’t wait to welcome you back with open arms…from a distance!

We are excited and ready to bring our Crunch community back together. Behind the scenes we have planned our new health & safety protocols, so that you can feel confident to exercise in the fun & friendly environment that we all know and love.

We will contact all of our members via text, e-newsletter and a post on Facebook as soon as we know all the details surrounding the conditions of opening. Therefore, it is more important than ever that we have your correct contact details. Please email us at info@crunchfitness.com.au with your latest details and we will update your records.

All gym memberships were placed on HOLD when we closed on 23rd March and fees have been deferred until we re-open. If your billing cycle falls on Monday 15th June, your gym membership fees will resume from that date.

If you wish to continue your HOLD please email us with the date that you wish to return to the gym at info@crunchfitness.com.au

Here’s a glimpse of what to expect when Crunch re-opens

SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • Social distancing will be key, so numbers will be restricted to 100 patrons in the gym at any time. Your visit will be limited to 1 hour.
  • Class numbers have to be limited to 16 patrons. We don’t want you to miss out on your favourite classes, so we have added EXTRA CLASSES to the timetable.
  • PLUS, we are adding LIVE-STREAMED classes to our timetable to do in the comfort of your own home PLUS recorded classes at the gym. All of these additional classes will be included in your current membership fees.

BOOKING IN VIA OUR APP – IT’S EASY!

  • You will book in for classes and to use the gym floor via an App on your phone or Member Portal on your computer – it’s super easy! Please make sure we have your correct email address or the App will not work for you.
  • Download and open the App GymMaster Member
  • Put in your email address (the one you gave to us at the gym) and hit send login details
  • You will receive an email from Crunch with a link to reset your password

 

  • You are ready to book your class or gym area!
  • Look at the class schedule, pick your class and hit ‘Book Now’ and you will be told ‘Class Booked Successfully’. There are 16 spots and 10 people can be waitlisted.
  • If you can’t make the class, don’t forget to CANCEL YOUR SPOT so that anybody on the waitlist can be notified. To see your class bookings, go to the menu and choose ‘Bookings’, click on your booked class and ‘Cancel Booking’.
  • The creche will re-open from Monday 15th A maximum of 10 children will be allowed per 1 hour booking, via the App.

ON ARRIVAL

  • Once at Crunch, a contactless temperature check will take place before you manually swipe your membership card.
  • We ask you to wash your hands before coming to the gym and will ask you to sanitise them on arrival. Please continue to wash and sanitise your hands whenever possible whilst at the gym and before leaving. Hand sanitiser will be readily available.
  • All members must wipe down any equipment they use before and after use. Disinfectant spray bottles and wipes will be readily available.
  • We will have a 15 minute gap between classes so that we all have time to sanitise the exercise area and equipment before the next session.
  • Some equipment will be temporarily out of use to allow for social distancing.
  • Please keep 1.5m between yourself and other members and Crunch staff at all times.
  • Please bring a water bottle, a large towel to place on all equipment (a second smaller towel is recommended if you anticipate working up a sweat!) and an exercise mat.
  • Limited lockers will be available for use so please only bring what you need to avoid using the locker room if possible.
  • Showers will not be available until further notice.

LOOK AFTER YOURSELF AND OTHERS

  • If you are feeling unwell, even with mild symptoms, please stay at home until you are feeling well again. We encourage you to talk to your GP and consider having a COVID-19 test. Notify us at all times if you have had a COVID test, have been in contact with a confirmed case or have tested positive yourself.
  • If we are informed that a member has produced a positive COVID-19 test, we will have to temporarily close the gym whilst a deep clean takes place.

CLEANING … A CLEAN WORKOUT IS A GREAT ONE

  • We were doing it before we closed and we will be back at it again after we re-open! Crunch staff will be rostered on to sanitise all high touch-point surfaces and equipment on rotation throughout the day.
  • All Crunch staff have completed the Australian Department of Health Infection Control – COVID-19 online training.

So, this is just a glimpse of what the changes will look like once we re-open. We will email you with clear instructions on how to download and use the booking app and before heading back to the gym!

Luckily, we will have a record of all members that are in the gym each day due to our booking system. We also recommend that you download the COVID SAFE app as an extra precaution so that any reported cases are traceable.
